Project Horizon is the crucial final step toward the full integration of Portfolio and NAE/NWAN. It is our intent to keep all associates abreast of Project Horizon’s status. Please see below for this month’s most recent updates and announcements.

  • Vander Feature and Reporting development efforts continue following the mid-June training launch. BAs and developers are also working to clear up any blockers that limit the ability to test final functionality. Remediation of Release 1 Phase 1 bugs will continue even after go-live with a focus on continued improvement and system enhancements.
  • The Project Horizon team made more progress in End-to-End Testing and are now working to finalize the items that are still blocked. Reach out to Mark Slyder to learn more about Horizon’s testing efforts.
  • Associate Training materials development for live sessions began in early April, engaging more than 50 trainers across eight Portfolio business units. Training content development has been broken into three five-week cycles for 12 weeks of activity. Cycles 1, 2 and 3 have been completed. We are currently in Cycle 4, which runs through July 14The Change Management team is hosting biweekly business unit-specific check-ins as well as optional office hours to support training content development and stay apprised of progress. Business units facilitating Phase 1 training began finalizing materials, hosting live sessions or recording webinars and sharing materials in mid-June.
  • The Agent and Dealer Training team hosted training sessions with Portfolio agents on June 12-23. Sessions were delivered by the Sales and Marketing team with support from subject matter experts. Associates are encouraged to access the webinar recordings when they are made available.
